Special Guest Designer Pascale B.

We're thrilled to welcome our special Guest Designer and April Challenge Winner Pascale B. to the blog today!

Hello Sweeties, my name is Pascale. I'm living in France, near Tours, with my two teenagers. I started scrapbooking at the end of 2010. One of my hobbies is photography and over the years I've taken a lot, really a lot, of pictures, but they always stay in my computer. I've always liked handicraft. So scrapbooking is just a way to combine two of my hobbies, a way to express my creativity and to showcase my photos. Since I began to scrap, flowers are part of my layouts, and I gradually started to use mixed media as well. I don’t know how to define my style, perhaps something like free vintage shabby style could be a good definition. But it’s up to you to judge. :)

I choose this photo of my daughter and her friend I took during our trip in New York. They were simply sitting there, under the rain, simply happy do share this journey together...

I've made my background using a scrap of plastic bag, some bottle caps and different mediums: Distress ink, Distress stain, paint (Silk), watercolor (Twinkling H2O), gelato...
I finished the background with crackle paste and stamping.

The Blooming Branch die cuts have been colored with Gelatos and Twinkling as well as the leaves.

Please visit Pascale's Blog to view more of her work.
