Today Mixed Media Page by Denise van Deventer

Hello Everyone

Welcome to the last day of November.  Rather a scary thought!!

Anyways, it's Denise here, to share my November Vintage page and here's a reminder of the gorgeous mood board by Sylwia.

So here's my take.

I used some Teresa Collins papers from my stash and also a really pretty chipboard Creative Embelishments.

I embossed the chipboard with "Weather Worn" Distress Powder and this really gave it a super colour and texture.

I love this quote on that chipboard piece that says "When I look back on my life I want to know that I lived a full and meaningful life".

The photo is actually of an aunt of mine, when she was very young.  This page will be a gift to her at Christmas time. I hope she will like it! ;-)

Now it's time to see your take on this mood board.  Just a day left to squeeze in an entry! ;-)

Winter Memories Layout By Kay

Hello once again fellow Berry71Bleu fans & a special Happy Thanksgiving wish to all of you residing in the United States or Canada.   Kay here with my interpretation of this month's 'Vintage' themed challenge.

For my project I've used papers from our primary sponsor for this month--Riddersholm Design.  These papers have a Vintage-Christmas design which worked perfectly for this month's challenge.
The photos are of my son during his November photo shoot for his 3rd birthday.  I requested a few winter themed poses & here he is giving me his best 'big boy' pose.

The design of my page is based on a sketch by The Nifty Pixel.  I used several types of embellishments & layered them with the use of pop dots in order to give my page a bit of dimension.

Now onto this months prizes...there's still a couple of days left in November--so come & play along for the chance to win one of these fabulous prizes...

Picture Perfect by Mandy

Happy Hello Berry71Bleu Friends!

Mandy here and today it's my turn to share my take on this month's beautiful challenge hosted by Sylwia!  I decided not to add a vintage photo but I used the gorgeous vintage style paper "Cozy Christmas" sponsored by Riddersholm Design.  I added hints of the minty aqua color as seen in this month's vintage inspired mood board.....
I added some stamp work using white acrylic paint to accent the delicate swirl details in the paper....
Since this was a winter theme page I wanted to add some shimmery highlights.....I added chucky glitter and very fine glitter.
Below is the beautiful inspirational mood board!

Happy 13th! by Cathi O'Neill

Hi scrappy friends!! Cathi here today sharing my take on Sylwia's November Mood Board. I usually do layouts for this challenge but my daughter's birthday was this past weekend and I really wanted to make a vintage card for her!

For my base layer I used a gorgeous wooden page "Compass" from the new Riddersholm Design collection Newport. This tones in pefectly with the wood in the mood board. I added lots of metal pieces on the card, adding some turquoise paint to give a distressed and aged look. I've also added lace and the brown and blue colors from the moodboard.

My daughter is obsessed with ballet and so of course I had to use a vintage ballerina on my card for her, adding a few modern touches like the Happy 13. I used the Special cut out from collection and love the metal key that says "dreams" and the the word tag that says "the journey awakens the soul", they fit well for her big dream of dancing and the journey she is taking. She may or may not make it to her final destination of a professional careeer but I hope she enjoys the journey along the way!

Here is the gorgeous moodboard Sylwia created:

I hope you can find the time to play along with us this month.
There are some fabulous prizes up for grabs!
