the 2016 BERRY71BLEU DESIGN TEAM
Manager
I love all kinds of media – if I would have to define my style, I would say that media are the only constant thing.
My favourite colours are fresh, bold greens, blues and pinks, but at the same time I just love delicate, pale hues of beige, rose and white. However there is something in my projects, what can be found always – a positive, feminine style.
Scrapbooking fills my whole life – it is all around me – in my private life and in my job career. I love the process of creation – I have created things since early childhood – all kinds of handmade things always attracted me. I cannot imagine my life without making some art. Even if I leave for a weekend, I always take my small “art-bag”, filled with art-journal supplies.
I am lucky enough to be a designer in a few very creative places. I love drinking coffee, reading books, walking through the forest, watching flowers on the meadow, basking in the autumn sun and being deep in my inner world. I can say that I am happy person and wouldn’t change a single thing in my life.
Design Team & Social Media Coordinator
My name is Marie Johansson and I live in the north of Sweden with my partner and our two children (Max, 12 and Alice, 8 years old).
My “style” is colourful and playful. I often use a lot of papers and embellishments. I try to have the photo in focus, and to reflect the feeling of the photo in the layout. I love playing around with different mediums like paint and gesso, and I believe every layout needs a bit of black colored stamping on it. Over the years I think my way of creating has developed from “pure” scrapbooking to become more Mixed Media Scrapbooking. If I would call my style something – well maybe Playful Punk Chic? (if i do a romantic layout, I can´t help giving it a playful twist…).
Guest Design Coordinator
I started scrapbooking a number of years ago, but only really started seriously
scrapping after my son was born, about 7 years ago. I am a South African,
a devoted mother, giving wife and happy creator! I am a very happy scrapper
and love creating layouts, as well as cards and altered projects. I am not sure
that I have a particular style, probably somewhere between classic and shabby
chic, but recently I have also done quite modern & love mixed media pages.
I love chipboard & embellishments & I am always keen to try new things.
I am currently on the DT at BoBunny, which has certainly been such an
honour & a privilege and I am also author and DT at Scrap Africa & DT
at Berry71Bleu and FabScraps. I previously was on the DT at Enmarc Crafts,
Zeus and Zoe & Let's Scrap.
I am a very versatile scrapper and create altered projects, cards and pages!
I love anything paper and love trying my hand at a new idea!
I think that is why paper crafting is such a passion for me, because
it is ever evolving with new papers, new tools and new crazes!
So whether it’s layouts, cards, mini albums, tags or altered projects,
I enjoy them all &would be happy to create any of these.
Many things inspire me and my son and family are definitely two of those things.
I also love colour and layering, but sometimes clean and simple does the trick.
I love photography and really enjoy taking good photo’s that can later be
scrapped. I truly believe that great photo’s make for great projects.
I have been so grateful and pleased to have a number of my pages published
in the Scrap365 magazine, as well as Scrapbooking Memories & Scrap Affairs.
I would love for you to pop over to my blog & see some of my work there too! :) My blog address is Strawbs Patch and would love it if you popped over & said HI!
My name is Jessika but I usually use the nickname mrssandman in the scrap world.
I live in the very north of Sweden with two sons and my partner. My children are often the focus on my layouts because they love to be in front of the camera as much as I love to document their life. Besides from scrapping and crafting I am currently studding to become a art teacher whiles I am subteaching where I am needed.
I have been scrapping since 2006 on and off and love it because it is so versatile, it is only the last couple of years though that my scrapping has really become a big part of my life. I am a mixed media scrapper but I also really dig Clean and Simple projects.
I am so happy to join Berry71Bleu, it's gonna be a blast! :D
My name is Olga. I'm from Russia. I was born in the Northern part of Russia - in Yakutia.
Now I live in Moscow. I have a husband and two children. Now I work for a large international electrical company. I'm very glad to be with you.
My name is Virág Réti and I live in Budapest, Hungary. I work as an online marketing manager on weekdays, but my passion is scrapbooking. This is not just a craft activity for me, it is my real holiday and time for relaxation. My scraproom is a calm island in this busy world. I started scrapbooking 5 years ago, but last year when I met mixed media scrapbooking techniques in an American YouTube video I felt that I found my line, the technique what I was looking for. My style is a little vintage and grunge, sometimes romantic and shabby, but I cannot define exactly. I am able to reform day by day. My favourite products are chipboards, beautiful papers, paints, mists, nowdays flowers, tags. I am able to prepare layouts in different styles, it depends on my mood, the embellishments and the papers I use.
I am coffee lover. I love to sing out loud, but my voice is horrible. And I know, I am a bit crazy, because normal is boring for me. :)
I am happy to be here in Berry71Bleu Team, and I hope I will be able to inspire you!
I am Julia Kissel from St.Petersburg, Russia.
At the moment am a housewife, take care of my husband and try to bring bright colours to our little world.
I learned about scrapbooking in 2012 and since then it is a part of my life.
Like to take photos, ride a bicycle, love to cook delicacies of cuisines all over the world, and can not imagine my life without travel. In scrapbooking I like freestyle, adore mixed media, sometimes get moods to create something vintage or shabby.
Hello. My name is Anna Solnyshkina, I'm from Moscow. I'm a mom of one sweet boy - Misha, and I can't imagine my life without all this creative mess in my craftroom from 2011. :)
My passion are layouts, cards, canvases and altered art. I love the moment when you catch the idea and prepare everything for it, sketching it with all tiny details and waiting for the moment when you will create your project! I work in different styles - shabby chic, vintage, mix media... Flowers and resins my favorite craft supplies with spray and paints, I love lots of layers and decor
I´m Päivi and I live with my family, my husband and our son, in a small town in north Sweden. For a very long time, for at least 20-25 years, I have made my own cards for different occasions but I started with scrapbooking in the fall 2009 when I made my first layout. Nowadays I mostly do layouts and cards but also sometimes other projects. My scrapbooking style is something like "Clean and simple meets mixed media". I love colors and using colors on my projects.
Cathi O´Neill
Designer
Hi! My name is Cathi O'Neill. I am an American who married an Irishman and I have been living in Ireland since 1997. I live in a beautiful village on the Shannon River with my DH of 20 years (wow, that makes me feel old!) and my two beautiful daughters, Aine (onya) 13 and Aisling (ashling) 11, who are the subject of many of my projects!!
I have always loved crafting since I was a little girl. My grandmother taught me to knit and crochet and I remember sewing Barbie doll clothes with her on her front porch! I am a knitter and quilter as well, but have recently in the last few years found cardmaking and scrapbooking, and an obsession was born!! I truly love creating and make vintage cards to sell here in our local village cafe as well as stacks of mixed media and shabby/vintage style layouts of my girls to keep and share with family! I also love to do tags, ATC and altered projects, barely a day goes by when I haven't done something crafty!!
I am currently on the design teams for Riddersholm Designs, Blue Fern Studios as well as Berry71Bleu and have guest designed and designed for many wonderful companies and challenge blogs, I have been very blessed.
Anna Wiśniewska
Designer
My name is Anna Wiśniewska - Wiosanka.
I live with my family in Poland, in a small village near the Baltic Sea.
My scrapbooking passion is creating mixed - media layouts (the most with pictures of my two sons), but I am also addicted to making albums, canvases and frames for pictures.
I like to play with colours very much - my projects are full of colours, a little messy, always splashed with lots of different media.
I’m absolutely thrilled and excited to be part of Berry 71 Bleu Design Team!
Hi everyone, my name is Carole and I live in Christchurch, Dorset near the sea. I am married to Phillip, we have one daughter Jessie, who I mostly scrap and we have a cute little fluff ball Bichon called Millie. I have always made cards and first started scrapbooking when a friend invited me to a class in her home and I was hooked. This way I could keep my little piece of art instead of giving it away! That’s what she said anyway! I do both of course!
I have always loved craft and making things, I have crafted ever since I can remember and I did fashion design at college. I always made clothes and I think I have tried most everything in the crafty world. I craft daily and am at my happiest in my little craft room making something pretty. I think my style is shabby chic and pretty, I always use flowers and find it hard to complete a project without them! I love using colour as an inspiration and have often asked Jessie to wear something that I know will compliment a paper or flower that I have in my stash! I also love sketches to get my mojo going. I love being on Design teams as I love to inspire others with what I do. I am really excited to be a part of the Berry71Bleu team for a second term, the challenges are amazing!
We hope that you will be back for our new challenge at January 1st!
