Forty by Anupama Choudary

Hello Dear Scrappers! I am super-excited about this month's challenge - A collaboration between our very own Berry71Bleu and Once Upon A Sketch...How cool is that!!!

To enter this month's challenge you must use the sketch provided by OUAS & incorporate numbers anywhere on your project.  In addition, you'll need to use chipboard on your projects which is Berry71Bleu's part of the challenge.
Here's my take on the challenge...

This month we were fortunate to work with papers from the Lucky 7 Factory and Scrap FX chipboard.

It was fun working with the Technology pps from the Lucky 7 Factory.
Check out the cool 3D badges!

A close-up of the Scrap FX chippies in Steampunk style.

I retained the Kraft look of the title chipboard and just stamped it with numbers to emphasize the theme - to have numbers in any form on your project.

Chevrons, Acrylic paint and more Stamping!

The inspiring sketch from OUAS

PRIZES

The Lucky7 Factory is a young company in Quebec, Canada. It all started around a table practicing our favorite hobby, scrapbooking. Our friendship circle then added another string to its bow; by becoming business women.

For 3 years now, we offer collections that include double-sided papers and handmade ornaments. We are now in our seventh collection (Technology). With the latter, we offer handmade flowers, buttons and alphabets stickers. Together, they are perfectly coordinated.

Our goal is to create a quality product while respecting our beautiful planet. That is why our paper is 100% recyclable. It is thick enough to make cards and is the perfect support for mix-media techniques. It is quite versatile. The handmade ornaments are made with lots of love and care. To ensure customer satisfaction, we try to surpass ourselves with each new collection.

In addition, via our blog, we love sharing tips and tricks to create while recycling everyday objects. Twice per month, we create challenges that help motivate or get you out of your comfort zone.  It is also a great way to get to know each member of our Design Team (DT) and follow the evolution of the company.

Through this adventure, we love talking to our customers and share our passion with them.  These moments are always filled with small joys and madness. This represents us very well!

  2. The only word to describe this layout is AMAZING. The multi media look is great. All the layers are cool. However, I'm in love with how you stamped numbers on word Forty. The layout is so cool and a great concept. The prizes are great. Although I doubt I would win I'm going to tell my wife about this contest and see if she wants to enter. Thanks for sharing

  3. Fabulous layout. I really like how you put the letter O around one eye. It makes the word look like a mask on the girl's face. Very creative.
