Scrapiniec Guest Designers

Today we are happy to have guest designers from Scrapiniec - first Polish laser die-cut chipboard manufacturer. This month Scrapiniec is one of the prize sponsors - be inspired by Scrapiniec team and play with us at Berry71Bleu this month!

This months theme is: Favorite Movie or TV Show & the challenge is: Multiple Photos. The host of this great challenge is Kay Fatula.

Your project must be centered around your favorite movie or TV show & must consist of more than one photo.  You can use the same photo twice or use different photos--the choice is yours.  If you just can't pick one movie or TV show--then feel free to center your project on your favorite actor or actress, this counts as well.

Inspiration from Scrapiniec DT members:

Alicja Panewka

My name is Alicja "Asica" Panewka. In scrapbooking world I'm known as "asica.p". I was born and rised in small, beatutiful polish town - Cieszyn. Following my heart last year I moved to another beautiful city - Galway in Ireland where I live with three lovely boys: my partner and two sons.

One of my favorite movies is Chocolat. I like this film because of Johnny Deep of course  but also for the lovely pictures, sweet decorations and beautiful music.Tag  which I received perfectly fit in the composition of my LO.

Chipboard pieces from Scrapiniec:
Lodziarnia
Tea House
Zawieszki
Latawce
Tea House

Full time mum, wife, crafter. Since 2006 I'm always covered with bits of paper. I love vibrant colours, nice patterns, warm socks and tea.

When got my tag for this layout my mind went blank- how to make a page featuring the only fruit I'm allergic to? Then i found out the theme and it all came together. I'm a big TV series fan and I usually have something playing in the background when I craft. Strawberries were a perfect match for my favourite show that may cause pie addiction- "Pushing Daisies".

Chipboard pieces from Scrapiniec

I live with my family in Poland, in a small village near the Baltic Sea.
My scrapbooking passion is creating layouts (the most with pictures of my two sons), but I am also addicted to making albums and frames for pictures. Some time ago I discovered the opportunities hidden in canvas and now I often make canvas with pictures, and I do this with a great pleasure :-) I like to play with colours very much - my projects are full of colours, a little messy, always splashed with different media.

Jurrasic Park is not my favourite movie now, but I remember the time when I was much younger and I was fascinated by dinosaurs. Now my kids are Especially after visiting Dinosaur Park in Łeba.

Chipboard pieces from Scrapiniec:
Strzałki Arrow mix SMASH

Jamajka

I'm a color-addict scrapper, I love making layouts, art journals, albums, notebooks, sometimes even traditional cards! I love any form, where I can work with paper and media, my favorite are color sprays and mists, gesso, paints, inks and many many other scrapbooking supplies. I love to create many different moods in my works. I love to create in unusual way, using a lot of color bursts, splashes, shadows, than I can show and transfer into paper my feelings and my emotional state.
I'm a teacher and I love to work with children, I love to show them all the life's colors and shades. I love to sing and do something that makes other people smile :)

I used 3 snapshots from "Amelia", a lovely french movie about looking for love and happiness in life.
I love that part, when small Amelia is eating fruits from her fingers and when adult Amelia does many other things, that make her happy.

This movie is one of my favorite movies, it brings me hope, that happiness is waiting somewhere for everyone, even sad and lonely. And it says, that we are born to collect things (places, people, moments) that we love - it's never too late.

I used 7dots studio papers with bright, happy colors, some bright colors of glimmer mists and distress stain, some masks and gesso and some lovely, romantic chipboards from Scrapiniec.

collections are made from thick (250gsm), acid-free, lignin-free,
archival scrapbooking paper. We also offer high quality cardstock
stickers.

Kay's Kreative Korner was opened in 2009. It began simply as a way of sharing a few of my handmade items. I opened my shop with a couple of hand stamped cards, butterflies & a few pre-made scrapbook pages. Within a year, I stopped making cards and decided to concentrate on specific embellishments--I went with the butterfly. I've always admired the butterfly & what it symbolizes. Change, transformation, a new start, beginnings...with this concept I started making scrapbook embellishments based on existing butterflies from all around the world as well as butterflies that I have designed myself. Each butterfly is hand cut & carefully assembled by me.

Within a few months I started to add transparent 'Glass' butterflies which are clear in nature but add a very bold & unique touch to any crafty project. My latest creations are the 'Rose' butterfly collection which are butterflies with roses on their wings & the 'Message on Wings' butterfly collection with sentiments printed on their wings that can be personalized.

In addition to the butterflies I specialize in vines & beaded flowers. Each item is handmade with much TLC and careful precision. My greatest reward is seeing how others use my embellishments on their own projects & pages or to decorate a special occasion.

  1. Wonderful pages ladies!! I'm especially fond of the Amelie page. I was very close to making my page on Amelie since it's such a favorite movie of mine as well. The decision was between Amelie & The Breakfast Club--we all know which one got it but The Breakfast Club won by VERY little!
