We're thrilled to have the super talented Magda Bolinska with us today! You will find Magda's work in the Pop and Colours Workshop.

My name is Magda Bolinska also known as mumkaa. I`m a 28 year old Polish girl, full time mum, scrapbooker, blogger, teacher, mixed media artist and immigrant. For the last 8 years I have lived in the UK – with my [almost] hubby and with my two little daughters – Olivia [7] and Hannah [2]. My world revolves around my children and our home. And as a mum of 2 I have lots of things to do all day long :) But I love it :) When my girls are asleep I have a few night hours only for myself - then I read or create :)

I discovered scrapbooking in 2008 and now it`s very important part of my life. In my work I like using different kinds of mediums - like watercolors, acrylic paints, inks and so on. My work without paint? Definitely NO ! ;) I love using scraps of papers and stamps [yes, stamps are my big love !]. How could I decribe my works? Freestyle, controlled mess, colors. I hope that people see a good energy in my work.

 This challenge is not limited to a scrapbook page - think canvas, home decor, headbands, anything your creative mind can dream up! Pop and Colours Workshop #1 - Art of Background 

Six weeks of workshops with step-by-step detailed examples and videos! Do you like to play with inks? Dirty hands, paint in the hair and stains on the apron don’t scare you? Then this workshop is for you! Whatever your style, learn how to create backgrounds very personal using the techniques presented in this workshop! I requested internationally famous guests who will share their secrets for making scrapbook pages from A to Z. Each week two different step-by-step (videos or photos and written explanations) will be presented. Each week, icing on the cake, sample pages created by the various artists using each technique will be shared. These examples will show you that the techniques are adaptable to all styles! The workshop will focus on scrapbooking pages, but the techniques are obviously suitable for other media (Art Journal, Project Life, mini-album, canvas Mixed Media etc.). There is no time limit to subscribe to the workshop and it will be available for a period of one year from the beginning of the workshop (ie 18 October 2014).
