Guest Designer Bec Genet - Winter Wonderland Layout + Video

We're pleased to welcome our November Challenge winner Bec Genet as our Guest Designer this month! Bec not only created a fantastic layout for us, but also has a video to go with it!

I'm completely obsessed about scrapbooking and crafts, all my spare time and money goes into scrapbooking but luckily I have a very supportive husband who allows me to continue my craft addiction. I also have a wonderful 8 year old daughter who is the reason I started scrapbooking in the first place, she is a good little model so I always have a good stock for photos to scrap. I just started my blog up about 4 months ago and started putting my work up on the internet. Already I have won some challenges and made it onto some wonderful design teams, I have had so much fun and got to know some amazing designers at the same time. I'm more of a mixed media style of scrapbooker, I love lots of textures and layers, and I love to add flowers, glitter and pearls/rhinestones to all me pages. For my layout I chose to go with the whites, browns and reds in the mood board, I love that colour combo. And because it's the middle of summer here in Australia (and even in winter it doesn't come anywhere close to snowing) I had to search to find a winter photo. I had this pic of my daughter from about a year and a half ago when we went back to New Zealand to visit our family and it snowed for us for one day, just enough to make some snow balls.
