Hello everyone! I am very happy to be a guest designer for such a great mood board. My name is Nadya and I live in Estonia. I am 29 years old. I am wife and mother of sweet girl, aged 7. I discovered scrapbookig almost 2 years ago and started to scrap seriously last winter, when I got into my first DT. My main sources of inspiration are people, their photos and new materials. The photo on canvas was made in 2012, when we was on vocation in Dominican Republic, because of it I choose seashells for decoration. I wish you good mood and a lot of inspiration!!!

Art Journal Page - Denise van Deventer

Hello Everyone

It's Denise here today to share my take on this month's mood board.

I loved the mood board this month and created an art journal page.

Here's my take.

I used the Summer Breeze Collection from Penelope Dee. The colours of this collection were perfect for this mood board.

There are many layers of paint, stamping, stencilling and the patterned paper bits.

I also used a white gel pen to create some scribbles and highlights around the page.

I really did experiment and play with this page! ;-)

But I am really happy with the result.

Eirini is a fabulous and creative designer and it is so great that she was able to create something for this month's mood board.

Here's a little about Eirini.

Hello dear friends, it's Eirini here sharing with you a guest work,inspired by this awesome moodboard!!

Firstly i feel deeply honored to be in this super talented team again and i feel so blessed that i was voted to win October's challenge.Thank you all!

Then ,i will tell you some details about how i made my lay out inspired by the navy colors and the drown tones on the brush picture.

My picture had a brick background,so i created a brick background too.The lady dances,so i created some music patterns as well and finally the splashes from my photo, had to be outside too...So i used my Lindy's embossing powders and mists to resemble the photo's background.For this lay out i also used 7dots new collection papers Writer's Block-Notes and  die cuts elements and stickers too.

So, i hope i gave you some ideas and inspiration .Thank you again for all your support and sweet comments.​

Here's a little about Deb! ;-)

Hello, my name is Deb Riddell and I am thrilled to be here at Berry71Bleu as a guest designer!  I live in British Columbia, Canada on a small acreage with my husband and our beloved rescue dog Haley and am lucky to have the beautiful Canadian wilderness just outside my door.  I started out on my creative journey as a watercolour and decorative painter but once I discovered mixed media there was no looking back and it is now my passion.  My style is vintage and distressed and I am constantly inspired by the beauty of nature so November's beautiful mood board was right up my alley with those wonderful natural elements.
I decided to create an art journal page for you and incorporated the chevron motif, those beautiful iridescent feathers and the acorns into my design along with the gold from the chevrons.  I didn't have any acorn motifs in my stash so decided instead to use oak leaves since, as the saying goes, 'mighty oaks from little acorns grow'.
I have a few step out photos on my blog on how I put my Simply Navy art journal page together so hope you will be able to stop by for a look.  Thank you again to Denise and the rest of the Design Team here at Berry71Bleu for inviting me to your blog and happy creating to everyone!

It's Denise here today to share some tags with you, that I created for the mood board challenge this month. Two rather different tags! ;-)

Here's the first one.  A vintage tag.

I used the super gorgeous chippies from Blue Fern Studios, along with the really super and pretty collection from FabScraps, Country Kitchen.

My second tag is really different and is a bright and sunny tag.

Again, I used the gorgeous chippies from Blue Fern Studios and on this tag I used Lemonade Stand from BoBunny.  It's a vibrant and sunny collection.
