Moments Layout - Guest Designer - Sanderijn de Bruin-Mittendorff

We have a super, duper, amazing Special Guest Designer today, who was the winner from last months challenge, as well, Sanderijn de Bruin-Mittendorff! ;-) A warm welcome Sanderijn!;-)

I am Sanderijn de Bruin-Mittendorff, I live in The Netherlands. I started scrapping in 2007, but when my daughter was born in 2009 I took some sort of sabbatical for 5 years, because I didn't had the time or the place to create a lot. In May this year we cleaned out the attic and made a perfect room for me, so now I am spending a lot of time there! I love that in the 5 years I wasn't creating, lots of products I already wish to use back in 2009, are now in store and for sale. I love sprays, inks, metallic paints, inka gold, pigment powders, mica powders, gesso, stencils and modelling paste. Just recently I bought myself a Big shot, and I am using die cuts for the first time in my layouts. I am always challenging myself to do different projects, different things I normally wouldn't do, to extend my horizon and to develop more techniques. I am not quite sure how to describe my style, but I am a bit perfectionistic and that gets sometimes in my way...

Hi friends! Dana here today sharing my take on Sylwia's November Mood Board. I was inspired by all the fantastic elements on Sylwia's board and the vintage theme. I chose to use a photo from the restoration project of a French castle, Chateau de Gudanes. I am quite obsessed with this project. The owners are unearthing some fantastic treasures and I'm loving that they are documenting their progress so I can run around these beautiful grounds in my dreams!

I used a combination of papers from the Riddersholm Design Newport and Tailgate Marked collections.

I added paint and mist splatters and brocade stenciling to the background of my page before I piled on layers of patterned papers, postcards, die-cuts and packaging, pieces of fabric, and colorful flowers.

I finished my page with title of wooden letters.

I love the colors of the November Challenge "Vintage November"! Since we can expect colder weather and maybe even snow up here in the northern hemisphere the cold greys and blues are perfect for a layout with a winter photo.

Some days the nature look like a fairyland. Everything is covered with white. Can´t you just feel the cold coming our of the picture I used?

We are lucky be sponsored by Riddersholm Design this month and I used papers from Christmas Cosy in Skandinavia for my layout.

Sylwia here with my November Challenge:) I decided to go vintage! The moodboard represents my favourite vinatge colour combo: brown and mint, my favourite laces and old books:) This month we have another fabolous sponsor: Riddersholm Design. Happy Hello Berry71Bleu Fans!

 

Mandy here popping in to share my take on this month's "Leaves in Layers" challenge and I thought it's a perfect time to create something "Autumn" inspired! 

Well I didn't actually layer leaves but I layered the beautiful diamond shaped chippies supplied by Creative Embellishments "click here" - This month's  design team sponsor! Thank you!

I added stamp work in the shape of diamonds - A very COOL stamp from "Creative Embellishments"  I just dab my finger in the paint and tap it against the stamp....If I get too much paint on the stamp I put the excess on used paper....I didn't add paper or fabric leaves but I did add some to the left of the page using a bright yellow paint....

 

 

 The beautiful moodboard below shows lush leaves full of rich colors!
I wanted to incorporate the below colors in to my project .....I can't believe October is almost over!
