Picture Perfect by Mandy

Happy Hello Berry71Bleu Friends!

Mandy here and today it's my turn to share my take on this month's beautiful challenge hosted by Sylwia!  I decided not to add a vintage photo but I used the gorgeous vintage style paper "Cozy Christmas" sponsored by Riddersholm Design.  I added hints of the minty aqua color as seen in this month's vintage inspired mood board.....
I added some stamp work using white acrylic paint to accent the delicate swirl details in the paper....
Since this was a winter theme page I wanted to add some shimmery highlights.....I added chucky glitter and very fine glitter.
Below is the beautiful inspirational mood board!

We can't wait to see your projects!

Monarch by Mandy

Happy Hello Berry71Bleu Fans!

Mandy here popping in to share my take on this month's "Leaves in Layers" challenge and I thought it's a perfect time to create something "Autumn" inspired!
Well I didn't actually layer leaves but I layered the beautiful diamond shaped chippies supplied by Creative Embellishments "click here" - This month's  design team sponsor! Thank you!
I added stamp work in the shape of diamonds - A very COOL stamp from "Creative Embellishments"  I just dab my finger in the paint and tap it against the stamp....If I get too much paint on the stamp I put the excess on used paper....I didn't add paper or fabric leaves but I did add some to the left of the page using a bright yellow paint....

The beautiful moodboard below shows lush leaves full of rich colors!
I wanted to incorporate the below colors in to my project .....I can't believe October is almost over!

Creative Embellishments is sponsoring the design team this month with some gorgeous chipboard, rubber stamps and more......

Into the Woods by Mandy

Happy Hello Berry71Bleu Fans!

Today it's my turn to share my take on this month's fun filled "FOREST" challenge hosted by
I used the dark paper from 7 Dots Studio - Nature Walk - Perfect for this month's challenge!
The photo was recently taken by me at the local state park and you can see the sun peeking through the trees.....I added the sticker from 7 Dots Studio, Destination Unknown - "Sunny Skies"  among the various embellies!
I wanted to use dark background paper to add depth behind the photo - (as if walking deep into the woods) -  I then wanted to add accents of the colors in the photo - (blues/greens) - I used a variety of brands of mists, paints and inks to this mixed media layout....I was grabbing "similar" colors as in the photo.

Below is the beautiful "Forest" themed mood board Tusia created:

Butterfly Dreams by Mandy

Happy Hello Berry71Bleu Friends!

Mandy here and it's my turn to share my take on this month's fun challenge hosted by Cathi!  I used the gorgeous die cuts and papers from this month's design team sponsor "Heartfelt Creations"....Thank you!
I used simple plain white card stock for the die cuts.
I then added inks, rubs and mists to the die cuts.....I went over some areas of the die cuts with copper leafing...
I just recently had the photo developed and I thought it went well with the papers from "Heartfelt Creations"!!  This lovely butterfly made a visit to my garden last week.
Check out the beautiful mood board and prize details below!!!
You can create layouts, cards, art journals, tags or even altered projects, as long as they contain dies. Now since everyone might not have a die cutting machine, purchased die cuts are great to use too. Many of us seem to always have some of these in our stash.

Earth without Art is just eh - by Mandy

Happy Hello Berry71Bleu fans!

Mandy here and today I'm sharing my take on this month's super fun challenge "Flowers Galore" hosted by Carole Wright.

I was inspired to use a photo copy of a sketch I recently created....The sketch fits this month's mood board perfectly.....The photo image shows many flowers surrounding her head piece and I extended the flower bouquet above the image with various flowers, flower buds, and painted petals....
Since the image has bright, vibrant colors I wanted the background work to be dark and distressed with hints of reds, oranges and teals....I was going for artsy/grunge on this layout....

You can get a closer look at the little swing and birds on the branches in the below photo....Thank you, "Scrapiniec" click here for the beautiful chipboard! (The "swing" is to the right of the photo)
The beautiful teal and black paper was generously provided by this month's sponsor "7 Dots Studio"click here...Thank you!!!!
I absolutely love the saying "Earth without Art is just eh" by Scrapiniec Chipboard....So true!!!!

Here is some inspiration below and you still have some time to join us in this month's fun challenge!
