This is our story by Virág Réti with video tutorial

Hi My Crafty Friends,

Today I am going to show you my brand new mixed media layout. I do not like using vivid embellishments and the shades of pink and purple, but the monthly moodboard inspired me.
I cut out flourish motif, butterflies and pigeons from a printable sheet and started to decorate the page. I must say that the result is totally out of my comfort zone, but I really like this page.
This is the first memory that I keep from the new chapter of my life.
So many of my smiles begin with this layout, because our story has started... :)

Here is the process video:

Here are some close-ups:

The Sweetest Thing Layout by Kay

For this month's challenge I chose a bright 'summery' paper to go along with my son's coordinating 'happy' outfit.  I've used dies from one of our sponsors this month Heartfelt Creations on my page as well as a mustache die cut.  I've also fussy cut my son out from a photo--so in a way I created my own person die-cut!  :-)

This intricate scroll die is by Heartfelt Creations.  I've cut the die in half & used half of the die to embellish two separate areas on my page.  To further dress up the die I've adhered a button flair to the center of each one.

Paper used is from Authentique's 'Infused' collection.

Gotta love all the bright colors on this one & I broke out all the bright embellishments to go with it along with a bit of black matting to tone the page down a bit.

You'll find details to this month's challenge below!  Play along for the chance to win some fabulous prizes from this month's sponsor...

Check out the beautiful mood board and prize details below!!!
You can create layouts, cards, art journals, tags or even altered projects, as long as they contain dies. Now since everyone might not have a die cutting machine, purchased die cuts are great to use too. Many of us seem to always have some of these in our stash.
We'd love to see what you will come up with for this month's challenge!!!

As always, we have some yummy goodies up for grabs.

Butterfly Dreams by Mandy

Happy Hello Berry71Bleu Friends!

Mandy here and it's my turn to share my take on this month's fun challenge hosted by Cathi!  I used the gorgeous die cuts and papers from this month's design team sponsor "Heartfelt Creations"....Thank you!
I used simple plain white card stock for the die cuts.
I then added inks, rubs and mists to the die cuts.....I went over some areas of the die cuts with copper leafing...
I just recently had the photo developed and I thought it went well with the papers from "Heartfelt Creations"!!  This lovely butterfly made a visit to my garden last week.

You're My Everything by Dana Tatar

Hi Berry71Bleu fans! Dana Tatar here today sharing my take on Cathi's July "To 'Die' For" Challenge. We're fortunate to have Heartfelt Creations as a sponsor this month! I had a lot of fun with their patterned paper, stamps and dies! I used the Heartfelt Creations All Geared Up Paper Collection for this page.

I used the Arianna Blooms Dies and The Leafy Swirls Cling Stamp Set to add some colorful flower clusters to my layout. I used some buttons from my Zeus and Zoe Kit for flower centers.

I used the Arianna Blooms Bouquet Cling Stamp Set for the title block and to randomly embellish the edge of my page.

I hope you can find the time to join our challenge this month! You can create layouts, cards, art journal pages, tags or even altered projects, as long as they contain die-cuts.

We have some amazing prizes up for grabs!
