Here's a little about Elena! ;-)

Hi! My name is Elena Martynova. I live in a big southern town in Russia.
I have a large garden, dog and three cats. The bulk of the time I do housework, raising children and creativity. Creativity is my favorite hobby. I really love making albums, pages, cards and notebooks.
 I like to work in various styles, but my favorite is mixed media.
I am addicted to stamps, creative mediums, dies, colors and papers! My style is most of the time very colorful. I try to express my mood in everything I do.

The moodboard of the new challenge was very inspiring to me. I made a layout with photo of my daughter. I used new collection of paper Roze Quarz by Prima Marketing. The Board gave me the idea to choose the sheet with a wooden print. I also used a lot of flowers in delicate yellow and pink colors. To add greenery to my work, I refreshed leaves of flowers with green spray by Lindy's.

Birds in Spring Canvas by Marie Johansson

Sometimes a project does not have to be simple even though it looks like that. This canvas looks rather simple to do, but I promise you - it took me hours to complete it. 

When I found this great piece of paper from Tattered Angels Mixed Media Orgins I knew it was a perfect match for our May Moodboard. The birds, the flowers and the spring quote summon the feeling of it.

I fussy cut out the focal piece from the paper and then painted it with shades of Tattered Angels Mist. When working with a water brush the mists work as water colors. The result is really good, but it takes time to get the right shades and layers. Well I am happy with the result and hope that you also like it.

I love the colors in the May Challenge Moodboard. They remind me of luxury, water and feeling free. And of travelling to ancient places far away. Or just getting lost in a book. To be honest - the most it reminds me of is the beginning of an episode of Game of Thrones....  Well - this is what I came up with. NOT quite according to my plans, than involved more browns, pinks and copper than the end result - but I hope that it inspires YOU to submit your project for our challenge this month.

Some details:

I have used Kroma Crackle to get the fine crackle effect. The gold & copper foil is Mega Flakes that is one of my big loves now days.

Sentiment sticker from 7dots Studio Fortune teller collection.

I have based my page on acrylics from Indigoblu and Glimmer Mists from Tattered Angels.

Hi!

It's Jessika here to share with you my take on our stunning mood board this month! :) It is such an inspirational mood board full with yummy shine, glitter and metallic elements. I have used both gold and copper in my layout and even some metallic stars. The metallic paints and stars all comes from mixed media place who is our sponsor this month :)

We have had such wonderful sunny weather right now so I manage to take a few detail shots in the sun where you can really see all the shine and glitter of the metallic colors.

Both the butterfly and the chipboard clock got some copper metallic paint on them.

 The stenciled flowers are made with black gesso and the sprinkled with copper and gold glitter.

I chose to have a really small title on this layout because I did not want the title to be the focal point.

May Guest Designer, Amy Prior!

Today we would like to welcome the winner of our April challenge and our guest designer for May, Amy Prior.

Scrapbooking has become part of my life, an extra limb I guess. It started as a teen with a daily journal/scrapbook full of photos, memorabilia and journaling. When I had my first daughter, I was introduced to this fantastic scrappy world and have never looked back. I am mum to two amazing and beautiful girls, who are, more often than not, my subjects for Scrapbooking alongside my fabulous husband Joel. I live on the Sunny Central Coast of New South Wales in Australia and cannot imagine living anywhere else. I wouldn’t say I have a particular style as I am constantly evolving and I love to try new trends especially trying new art mediums. I am so very honoured and excited to be guest designing for Berry71Bleu this month. I have always been a huge fan and play along with the challenges as often as possible. Thanks so much for having me and I hope my layout helps inspire you all.

18th Birthday by Marivic

Hello everyone!

It's Marivic here sharing with you my project for May. This is a hybrid page using Lucky 7 Factory Technologie Collection.

I used a stencil here and golden hard gel with some watercolor.

Here is the finish product with the word 18th from ScrapFx Line

This has been painted with Luminarte paint and Glazed over and made into a digital element.

Fifty by Debbie

Hi everyone, Debbie here with you today to share my May project with you.  This month Berry71bleu is collaborating with Once Upon A Sketch.

To enter this month's challenge you must use the sketch provided by OUAS & incorporate numbers anywhere on your project.  In addition, you'll need to use chipboard on your projects which is Berry71Bleu's part of the challenge and then enter your project on our sidebar.
Here's my take on the challenge...

This month we worked with papers from our main sponsor, Lucky 7 Factory's Technology Collection and chipboard from Scrap FX. 

To create my colorful background I misted using several colors, did a little stamping and inking.

I worked with thee different chipboards from Scrap FX.  Here I used the word Fifty and sprayed it with some Heidi Swapp Iridescent Spritz in Black Velvet. 

 Here I used a blossom stem  and small butterfly circle  chipboard from Scrap FX which I sprayed with some Heidi Swapp Black Velvet Iridescent Sprtiz and then embellished with some stickles.

 A beautiful cluster of gorgeous flowers, a little stamping and some tulle.

The Lucky7 Factory is a young company in Quebec, Canada. It all started around a table practicing our favorite hobby, scrapbooking. Our friendship circle then added another string to its bow; by becoming business women.
