Hello Everyone

Welcome to Friday and almost weekend! ;-) It's Denise here today to share some tags with you, that I created for our to "Die"for Challenge this month.

Here is the first tag.

I used the gorgeous Sunflower stamp and butterfly stamp from Heartfelt Creations, along with some of their beautiful papers. I used Staz On ink to stamp the sunflower image and then used water colours to colour it in.

I fussy cut this sunflower twice and created my own die-cuts.

Now for the second tag.

I stencilled my tag with gesso and then used some white embossing powder, which I heated.

Then I played with some watercolours and created that background.

Again, I used some beautiful Heartfelt Creations papers and that beautiful butterfly stamp.

As always, we have some yummy goodies up for grabs.

MIXED MEDIA TAGS by Mandy

Happy Hello Berry71Bleu Friends!

Mandy here sharing my take on this month's fun "Stamp It Up" challenge hosted by Denise.  I decided to create two mixed media tags using "Viva Las Vegastamps" and "7Dots Studio" Papers.

I stamped the butterfly tag using black "Archival" ink....

I added resist stamp details to the below tag using "fine" clear embossing powder.  The stamp has delicate details and I figured thick embossing powder wouldn't work well with this type of stamp.

I was going for a distressed/rustic/weathered look so the stamp work did not need to be perfect.  Here is a close up of the resist stamp work.

I just LOVE this stamp and papers from "Viva Las Vegastamps and 7Dots Studio!  They went well together!

The below "Stamp It Up"  mood board shows some beautiful stamps and details for you to be inspired by!

 You can create layouts, cards, art journals, tags or even altered projects, as long as they contain stamping.

Winter Chill Mood Board Challenge by Mandy

Happy Hello Friends!

 

  Mandy here hosting this month's fun "Winter Chill" Mood Board Challenge!

This challenge is about celebrating the breathtaking array of fresh fallen show and ice that is abundant this time of year. Whether you are a snow bunny or prefer to sit inside by a fire, we want to see how you cope with the winter chill!

I was inspired to create three tags using the gorgeous images from Gecko Galz; this month's design team sponsor! Thank you!

When I see a combination of icy blues, cool whites and deep purples it's not hard to imagine a bone chilling winter....The images have a mix of those cool hues so I decided to create "Lady Winter" tags....



I up-cycled by using discarded craft paper packaging.

I stenciled on some snowflake looking petals and added a thin painted wooden snowflake ornament to the back of two of the tags....

 The marabou feathers go a long way for a very low price!  I'd just pinch tufts of feathers off and hot glue them to various places accenting the flowers and beads...

I love the digital "Mandala" stamps provided by Gecko Galz!  I wanted to create one tag showing the stamp background as seen below.

Here is the images I started with. They were printed on plain copier paper.

A BLACK SWAN by DT Agnieszka Bellaidea, the very last project...

Hi!
With the end of the year it's time to show you my very last one project made for Berry 71 Bleu with lovely papers from our sponsor, UHK Gallery from Poland.

This time I used beautiful tag from Marivic to create a page about a girl who used to dance! The Black Swan.

I used several masks and stencils with gesso from 13 arts.

All flowers, lace, buttons etc are from Marvic's shop, Zeus and Zoe

I look at my little girl and every month I can see a change..

I made several flowers to match colors from her dress.
