Never stop dreaming!

Hello Crafty friends!

Today I like to share my take on the May Moodboard. I got inspired by the colorful and spring feeling of this moodboard.

I found myself for this challenge a piece of cardboard, which I decided to make something with. When I thinking of spring, sunshine, etc, than the first thing that came up in my mind is: "Never stop dreaming" and enjoying the beauty the nature is showing us. And this is what I came up with.

Hi Crafty Friends, 

Today I would like to show you my new cards. Spring is coming.
Two weeks ago it was snowing here in Hungary but now the weather is much better. 

I made these cards to inspire spring to come into our country. 

I don't often use bright colours so I formed my cards to my own style that is a little bit vintage, but I kept the feeling of the mood board.

Birds in Spring Canvas by Marie Johansson

Sometimes a project does not have to be simple even though it looks like that. This canvas looks rather simple to do, but I promise you - it took me hours to complete it. 

When I found this great piece of paper from Tattered Angels Mixed Media Orgins I knew it was a perfect match for our May Moodboard. The birds, the flowers and the spring quote summon the feeling of it.

I fussy cut out the focal piece from the paper and then painted it with shades of Tattered Angels Mist. When working with a water brush the mists work as water colors. The result is really good, but it takes time to get the right shades and layers. Well I am happy with the result and hope that you also like it.

May Mood Board Challenge - SPRING BLOOMS AND NEW LIFE

Morning everyone and welcome to our latest

 May Mood Board -  Spring Blooms and New Life.
I love this time of year with all the spring colours, so I have chosen some pretty pinks, yellows and greens to use and of course lots of flowers, all handmade by me.

HERES HOW

Choose a background paper and apply white Gesso 

When dry use a stencil and texture paste and apply all over

When dry spray and flick lots of paint or ink all over the page

When dry add matted photo to the page, use cardboard to lift

Add a white doily cut in half

Add a small paper clip

Make lots of flowers and using hot glue, adhere

Take a chippie title, ink and emboss

Add mini journal tag

Add journal sticker and a photo frame.

PRODUCTS USED

12x12 backing paper, white, pink yellow and green cardstock, white gesso, stencil, texture paste, white doily, yellow, green, pink spray mists, paper foam for flowers in white then coloured with inks, pink, yellow, dark pink inks, stamens, tag, photo frame.
