Always believe in yourself by Päivi Jänkälä

Hi,

Päivi´s back here with my interpretation of the so gorgeous February moodboard.

I was inspired by the colors, texture and the little bit of mustique feeling I got from this moodboard. The photo on my layout is taken in Finland when we visited the Turku Castle. And I just love this photo of my son by the castle window.

And so here is the gorgeous moodboard.

The background is made with Inca Gold mixed with a little bit of water to get the golden splashes. Then Inca Gold, little bit of water and modelling paste to make some texture together with a stencil. Also some stamping with a textstamp and a few black splashes and the background is finished

Uniquely You Layout by Cathi

This month's theme at Berry71bleu is Venice Carnival! The moodboard is filled with lots of gold and vintage charm. Here is the gorgeous moodboard we used:

I just loved it! I found a great carnival photo and just had to use it! I kept to a brown and dark pink theme and loaded my chipboard up with gold embossing powder!

Here you can see the gorgeous rich text of the Imagine Ink 14 Karat Embossing Powder from Blue Fern Studios. I love the look it gives! I added some sewing and splashes as well as some background stamping for detail.

I used flowers from my stash in browns and deep pinks with a touch of gold.

Here you can see more of the rich gold on the beautiful dress form chipboard from Blue Fern Studios. The beautiful paper is from the Blue Fern Studios Serendipity collection.

I just love how this turned out with the sewing and embossing added for texture. I hope you join in with us and play along!!

Venice canvas for February challenge

Hello everyone!

Today I'm Julia Kissel would like to show my Venice Carnival canvas)

Several years ago I have been to Venice and I really liked this town.
It was in summer season, so I have not participated in carnival, but I imagine it in that way...))

The Mask in project is a souvenir magnet from Venice.

In the work were used various metal and wood pieces, paper flowers which I covered with gesso, sprays and wax. Also used lots of sparkle, glass beads and mica flakes.

Birthday Card by Denise van Deventer

It's Denise here today, to share my take on this months challenge! ;-)

Here's a reminder of that gorgeous Carnival mood board! ;-)

I made a Birthday card, which is a little out of my comfort zone! ;-)

It is good to be pushed sometimes to create something a little different.

Here's a closer look.

I used bits and bobs from all over, along with lots of gold and silver shimmer.

It's a decadent card, but think that's what this mood board is about...glimmer, shimmer and Caaaaaarnival! ;-)

Search for the stars, search for happiness by Tusia Lech

Hello :) Here is Tusia Lech with canvas album. This month moodboard inspired me to create a spread about my night walking to search for the stars. One of the amazingness that happens in my life lately :)

I have used 7gypsies canvas album and lost of Finnabair stuff (3D gloss gel, glass glitter, white gesso, clear gesso, stencil) and some 7 Dots Studio stickers and die-cut elements and UmWowStudio chipboard pieces.

February is the month of Carnival fill up with masks and confetti, lights and colors that create a unique and festive atmosphere.

The mood board combines brilliance and luxury, ancient and modern with a little touch of Venice.
