7 Dots Studio Guest Designers - vol.1

Hello :)

Today we are happy to show you some fabulous creations from 7 Dots Studio design team. All ladies were inspired by May theme - Simple Pleasures. Now we can tell you also, that it will be not the only one blog post with Guest Designers from 7 Dots Studio :) So stay tuned this month :)

The theme of May challenge are SIMPLE PLEASURES

Marianne Johansson

"Budapest"

I was very inspired by the pink in the moodboard and also the photo with a map on. My page and photos are from a trip to Budapest, Hungary some years ago. We stopped at this gorgeous place/old palace for a glass of wine and I wanted to do a special shot with my glass of wine.

If you see closely, you see lots of buildings of Budapest through the glass. The photos are edited with special colors, just for fun. (I might had Domestic Goddess in my mind when I edited :))

7Dots Products used:
Domestic Goddess – Overused Tablecloth
Domestic Goddess 6x12 stickers
Domestic Goddess 12x12 stickers
Domestic Goddess Tags
Illumination stamps
Cold country stamps
UmWowStudio chipboard

"Smile, breathe and enjoy life"

I think everybody has sometimes a bad day, when everything is going wrong... But we have to always remember that life is beautiful, full of simple pleasures that are waiting for us to see them all the time. It can be a cup of a delicious cofee, a bird song, a beautiful smell of a flower, or a sound of the sea...

7 Dots supplies that I used:

"Serene"

I chose to go with this photo to show a simple pleasure - a quiet summer evening. After the warmth of the day it's lovely to be outside when the temperature starts to drop a little as the sun sets.

I used the moodboard to draw inspiration to the colors, to the woodgrain pattern and to that little origami bird. I also included some flowers inspired by the board.

List of materials from 7 Dots Studio:
Nature Walk - Die Cut Tags 12x12
Messy Head - Alpha Stickers

'Puddle Jumper"

I photographed my daughter jumping in large puddles of water after a heavy storm. The simple pleasure of her just enjoying that moment jumping and splashing just makes me so happy.

I got inspired by some of the colours of the mood board and of course by the flowers.
