Hi everyone and welcome to our latest
Mood Board for March.
Life is a series of thousands of tiny miracles. Notice them.
Life is a series of thousands of tiny miracles. Notice them.
I decided to make a mixed media canvas using these fab colours, and I have added in lots of tiny details.
HERES HOW
Take a large canvas (mine measures 12 x 9.5 inches) and cover with Gesso
When dry take a stencil and texture paste and cover the entire canvas
Now take some paper strips and lace strips and using some white glue, add these down one side and across the base of the canvas (under where it says Family)
Take photo and lots of paper scraps and make a small layered arrangement to one side, adhere to centre of canvas using foam pads or pieces of card to elevate the layer.
Next gather lots of assorted embellishments; metal, chipboard, wooden, micro beads etc and place around the paper layers
When happy with arrangement, paint everything with gesso
When dry take some mists and mist around the page
When dry add a few more metal pieces, some flowers, the title and the photo.
