My nephew layout by Jessika Lundman

I everyone!

The mood board this month is absolutely beautiful! I love purple and plum!

I had green in the layout but I excluded it because I really liked how the purple colors matched up with the black, grey and white, It turned out so sober :)

I used purple metallic paint for my doily chipboard and the title and the background is made with black heavy gesso trough a stencil.

All the white little dots are made with a pen not a brush :) I cheated since I only wanted dots in a few places.

You're a star! by Jessika

Hi there!

Jessika here today with some blue inspiration for our September challenge :)
I made a boyish layout about my little brother. He turned 18 about a week ago but in this photo I think he is about 10 or 11 and he really looks like a star :D

The sketch we are working out of this month:

And of course I added a "little" blue as are the criteria :)

I have used a star stencil with white gesso and Prima color bloom blue spray for the background. And then some different shades of blue and black to splatter with. The gears are chippies from 2crafty that I have painted with black gesso.

There are a bit of black thread behind the photo and here and there I added some stickers.

Some mesh tape over the paper to bind it all together and also a few star stamps and done!

"Discover" - art journal page by Jessika

Hi guys!

Jessika here today with a page from my moleskin art journal. The mood board this month is so magical!

I wanted to make something shiny and sparkly! So I used metallic paints, gold color bloom spray and glass glitter from finnarbair to achieve that.

I really wish you could see how it shines.  :)

The whole page is first coated with black gesso and then I also used black gesso through a star stencil.

I used chipboard from 2crafty and they got the same treatment as the background, black gesso and metallic paint.

I am really looking forward to see what you can create with this amazing mood board!
See you soon!
