Sweet dreams by Bea Mucsi

Hello everybody!

Today I brought you a layout  about my little girl, because her favorite color is purple :)

For the base I used a blank white paper what I covered with clear gesso. Then I added some piece of patterned watercolor paper and colored them with mists. I stenciled with modeling paste and pencil. For embellishing I used chipboards, flowers, metal embellishments and an old bracelet. At the end I stamped with black and purple inks.

I everyone!

The mood board this month is absolutely beautiful! I love purple and plum! 

I had green in the layout but I excluded it because I really liked how the purple colors matched up with the black, grey and white, It turned out so sober :)

I used purple metallic paint for my doily chipboard and the title and the background is made with black heavy gesso trough a stencil.

All the white little dots are made with a pen not a brush :) I cheated since I only wanted dots in a few places.

Thankful for You - Denise van Deventer

Hello Everyone

Welcome to a new week and hoping that it is a super one too! ;-)

It's Denise here today to share my take on the gorgeous mood board this month from Marie.

Here's my page.

I used the fabulous Enchanted Harvest Collection from BoBunny along with the super chippie from Creative Embelishments.

Here's a close up of the chippie.

I actually embossed this chipboard piece 4 times.  Firstly I did two coats of white.  Then I took a paintbrush and added some dark green pigment and embossed this with clear embossing powder.  I then used the paintbrush again and did some light green pigment ink highlights and again embossed with clear embossing powder.  The result is a slightly crackled yet glossy finish.  

I did a lot of splattering on the background with browns and gold.

This photo of my son, was taken on his 2nd Birthday! I cannot believe how the time has flown and that 6 years have already passed since then. All I know is that this boy has added so much to my life and I am forever thankful and blessed! ;-)

"Hi!

My name is Jessika and I live in the very north of Sweden. I live here with my boyfriend and our two sons. 

I have been scrapping since 2006 and have had a wonderful scrapping journey so far! I started out doing cards and small baby albums for peoples birthdays and such and has since then grown immensely. I now mostly do mixed media layouts. Putting paints and color on a white background is pure joy for me :D I just love to get messy! I also love contrasts. That is usually why I work on white and black backgrounds.

Leaves in Layers - October 2015 Challenge

It´s my time to host a Challenge here at Berry71Bleu and since October is a true Fall month where I live I thought about the wonderful colors and all the leaves that swirls around in the air. I decided to incorporate all of this in the Challenge and this is what I came up with.

Use the colors orange, brown and gold. Incorporate layers of leaves in your project.

I'm Just a Summer Kind of Girl by Denise van Deventer

Hello Everyone

It's Friday and super day to get the creativity juices flowing, just in time for weekend creating! ;-)

It's my turn to share my take on Dana's mood board.

Aren't the colours in this mood board just amazing!!!

I wanted to incorporate all the colours and so here's the page I created.

It's Spring/Summer here for us in Africa and so this is my absolute favourite time of the year and the Californian Poppies in my garden were the perfect colour for this mood board. They bring so much colour to the garden.

The title of my page, was the super digi stamp from JellyPark and the gorgeous leafy chipboards from Creative Embellishments.

I added texture with some gesso stencilling and gauze and then did some watercolouring and stamping. The papers are from the BoBunny Autumn Song Collection, which were the perfect combination.
