Decoupaged Mini Album by Denise van Deventer

Hello Everyone

It's Denise here today, to share a decoupaged Mini Album with you.

It's my sisters Birthday coming up at the end of the month and so I wanted to make something special for her. It's a Happiness is Homemade album.

I used the soft and pretty colouring from the mood board, as inspiration for this project.

So firstly, here's the cover.

I decoupaged the cover, and then added some gesso stencilling, some paints and inks to give it a vintage feel.

  I used the Soiree Collection from BoBunny to create this little album, as the colours were perfect!

Here are the inside pages.  I used lots of little bits and pieces, along with lots of stamping.

I really love how this album turned out and really hope that my sister will love it too! ;-)

Mini Inspirational Quote Book by Kay

For this month's challenge--I decided to do something a little different.  I created a mini album & when I say mini--I mean 'mini'.  :-)  This little guy measures 3 1/4" x 3 1/4".  It has a total of 9 pages & each page is a pocket that holds a small tag.

The theme of the mini coincides with this months Spring Fling challenge hosted by Mandy.  The mini is decked out in florals & pastel colors that are identified with Spring.

On the cover I have an image from Zeus & Zoe that I've printed & turned into a little tag.   The pockets & tags in this mini could be used to house small photos but I've decided to use it to store inspirational quotes, sentiments & anything of this sort that has some sort of meaning for me.

Mini is based on the meandering mini tutorial--which is a mini made from one piece of 12x12 card stock.  There are several tutorials available on how to make this mini--either Google 'meandering mini tutorial' or do a search on You Tube & you'll find several tutorials.

Here you can see the pocket pages & a few of the tags that are inserted into the pockets.  I've used papers from the 'Renew' collection by Authentique to make this mini.

The mini is held together by a ribbon closure.
