Valentine Page for Valentine's Day

Hi again,
I'm very thankful for all the lovely comments that I've been receiving about my pages. Your comments are very encouraging, it makes me want to create more and be able to share with you what I love to do the most...I am giving another page on Monday in honor of Valentine's Day. I only ask that you leave a comment here or my facebook page so I know that you would like your name to be included in the drawing. Just remember that every week, I will be giving away pages. This is a page I made with DCWV Ciao Bella line. The paper is beautiful, it is actually glittered, too bad the camera can't capture it.

I used Prima flower, the background behind the mat is a fabric I cut up.

"Blessed" Layout

This was a layout of my kids I made for my mother-in-law as a present for her last Christmas. I gave it to her attached to a shadow box.

I liked the page a lot, so I made one for myself which is displayed in my scrap room. I also submitted this layout for scrappassion challenge blog international. Didn't get the first place, but I'm happy to be one of the top 3. Thank you for picking my layout SCBI!

Butterflies..I love butterflies!!

Here's a layout I made with the picture of my 2 small kids (Alyssa and Joshua) with their favorite aunt, my sister. I love flowers on my pages, so whenever there are flowers as embellishments, most likely I will add butterflies to it. I just happen to go to Michael's a few weeks ago and their spring decorations just came out and found these pastel butterflies. What a good idea to use on layouts or cards! They all come in different colors..Check out Michael's store for butterflies. Sometimes they come with alligator clips or wires, but those are easily removeable.

I used Pink Paislee sweetness paper. Flourish from Tim Holtz grungeboard which I inked with a lilac chalk and dusted with glass glitter. Also snipped silk flowers to add to the fluorish.

Okay I've decided once and for all to go ahead and host a contest. I am hoping that you guys would participate, if this is successful, I would like to host a challenge every month.

There are not a lot of rules. Every entry that I receive I will post the pictures that you sent on my Facebook page and here in my blog, you can add a link if you wish. The theme for this month is LOVE since Valentine's Day is just around the corner. You can submit a layout or a handmade card. You can submit up to 3 entries. I will pick the winner through random drawing. ThThis challenge will run from 2/2 until 2/28. It will give you more time to make your project.

Custom Pages

Lately I've been doing a lot of custom page orders. I am still making pages for giveaways and for my shop on Etsy too. The Kindness Kit that I've put together which I posted a couple of weeks ago would end up being donated to a scrapbook challenge. I will give you more info once I find out where you can submit your entry.

I'm posting pictures of pages I made lately. There are so many new products coming out and I can't wait to get the latest kits from Webster's Pages, Pink Paislee, October Afternoon, etc..It's time to make Spring and summer pages, it's nice to think about warm weather when it is 30 degrees outside.

Kindness Kit

Hi guys..
I came across an international blog that give RAK kits every month. The members are from all over the world. I joined the challenge this month and submitted a layout. I don't really care if I win or not, it's the fact that there are actually a lot of people out there from different corners of the world that share the same passion for scrapbooking and are willing to share and give.

So I decided that I would like to do the same...I have created a kit that I'm willing to give away. It will be a layout challenge with the subject or theme "Kindness". I want to be able to give RAK kits at least every 2 months.

I want to run this challenge for a month. I'm going to give a lot of stuff away, I would like everyone who would like to join a chance to create something by giving you at least a month to create a layout.

There are no strings attached, I am not selling you anything. I'm doing this as a random act of kindness. I would love to see all your work and share with each other our creativity and the passion for scrapbooking.
The only thing I hope to gain from this is that, I hope to meet new friends.

Let me know what you think. Suggestions are welcome. If I get a lot feedback from this, I will post the rules, and the email/blog where you can submit your layouts.
