7 Dots Studio Inspiration by Vicky, Keren, Channa & Agnieszka

Hello Berry 71 Bleu followers!

As you know, our Sponsor for November is 7 Dots Studio!!!
They were generous enough to provide our design team with 2 collections each to play with!
We sure are a bunch of lucky ladies as their collections are just gorgeous!!!

So here it goes...7 Dots Studio inspiration!

"Koufeta" by Vicky Varvadouka
It is a rather simple page considering my "busy" style but I do like it a lot!!
My two little girls after a baptism, eating what we call "koufeta" which are small candies and they love them!!!

The papers and die cuts are so versatile and easy to work with!!!
 I loved them!!!

I have used the 7 Dots Studio collection "Hopefully" which is simply fantastic!!!

"Laugh, Enjoy, Life is good" by Keren Tamir

"I used the 7 Dots Studio collection Domestic Goddess."

"I made another fall layout about my daughter in the hay at a local farm. I also used flowers from Manorhouse Creations and a Chipboard piece from Scrap Fx. You can buy products from both these companies at Zeus & Zoe."

This is the amazing collection I used from 7 Dots Studio

" it was a lovely day" By Channa Suitella

"I used the 7 Dots Studio papers from 2 collections,
" hopefully" and "all i ever"

I made this layout with a picture of my husband and i only holiday this summer on the Greek island of Corfu.

I decided to do some cutting, the round little doilies around the picture and i added some chipboard from scrap fx and some flowers from manor house that i sprayed purple to match the layout. (see flowers left top corner) All can be purchased at  Zeus & Zoe."

I used papers from the 7 dots collections below:

Agnieszka is giving you a sneak preview of her

November GD, Elena

Today we would like to share with you beautiful work from our Guest Designer

I have been scrapping for more than 5 years, and I`m completely addicted to
it in past 2 years.
What about my style?  It`s difficult to determine.
I am exploring at the present moment grunge and mixed media, but
being a very gentle person my projects tend to be more feminine. That is
why I like also some shabby and vintage style. I adore using paints, mists and
lace.
My husband is a great support in every aspect of my life, and I'm very
happy that he accepts all my beginnings and crazy plans without any
objections. My 6 years old daughter inspires me to be creative. And I
have new bundle of inspiration - my new born son.
Why I do paper craft? When I was a child I used to like drawing and
painting, now I have discovered a new way to combine my love for art
with keeping the memories of my family.

This crazy challenge is absolutely challenging for me as I am quite a
moderate calm person, and being very modest I was struggling with some
colors. But then I decided to push this struggle out and here is the
result.

I decided to try this time the colors that I don't usually use on my
projects:
yellow, red, and green
They are absolutely striking for me,but I love pink and turquoise, so I decided to combine the colors andthis mix is so strong for me.
I even managed to add these colors on my flowers with the gesso, so I suppose they look quite well there. I am pleased with the result.
I tend to use many mixed media techniques on my projects, so the drips
and splashes are my main characteristics,  that is why I was searching
for some phylosophic theme which can substitute the madness of the
expression. So I thought about woman's age and how it can be transformed into my LO.

I stamped the image of a woman. added a overlay with vintage picture and
use the photo of my friend's daughter.

Moreover I'm afraid of using yellow and black. Here is the result - it
can be quite cool. The feather's flower from Manor House just grabs your
attention. I love this effect.

At the end I covered my swirl chipboard with 3 different colors -
yellow sand, lilac and turquoise , I want to show the tenderness
according with the maturity so I am finishing my philosophic crazy discussion as it has turned into
some ravings.

Each Moment Only Once Layout by Helen Tilbury

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Hi Everyone!  HELEN here with my take on Bellaidea's challenge for this month
 - to "Go Crazy!"  I tried my best LOL!   I did several things differently to usual.
We were sponsored this month by 7 Dots Studio so of course that made my job
just that much easier :)  I mean papers designed by the almighty Finnabair
herself are bound to be anything but ordinary!
I mixed the tags and stickers from 'Hopefully' with the papers from  'Domestic Goddess', along with twine from Purple Pumpkin, a funky Prima lightbulb & some grunged up cogs from Imaginarium Design.
Yeah I smudged the journaling - but it's all in keeping with the  'look' right?!
I got quite a lot of background texture going on with my modeling paste - that
is so thick I battle to squeeze it out of the bottle!!  I used WAX CRAYONS through
my stencil, which is certainly a first for me, but the texture was AWESOME!!
Splatting some dots of black mist onto a layout = a sure-fire way to add some manly grunge.  I also freehand cut a strip along the top of my layout & tucked in a few bits & pieces. This is a very trendy new technique I've been wanting to try!
I went crazy with the twine as you can see above & below! I was thinking it kinda reflected my son's inner 'teenage angst' as he is an 'over-thinker' like ME :)
And of course printing out a large photo then backing it onto chipboard, mounting it and inking the edges in black give a 'cardboard cut-out' look which is something I've never tried before either!  Thank you Bellaidea for setting a challenge that
certainly had me 'pushing the boat out'!

Still time to enter our challenge HERE!

"Crazy Little Angel" by Channa

Hello everybody!

I hope you are all having a good start of your week.
Today i will share my lay out for Berry 71 blue, the challenge for this
month is " Going Crazy" by agnieska.

Like a tornado i went over this page, i used a sheet of the " hopefully " collection of 7Dots and some scrapfx chipboard, together with some modelling paste, dylusions sprays, masks, gold paint, black ultra thick embossing enamel and this is my result:

I started with the modeling paste and a mask, below you can see the flowers of the mask.
After i used all the different sprays combined with the gold paint it gives a very cool effect.

An angel has wings, so i added them on the page and gave it a funky kick.

Before i added the chipboard below the picture i used it as a mask on the page.
The black below the chipboard is the melted thick embossing enamel.
It was a left over from another project and i just melted it in my melting pot and made this design.

It is a great challenge to really go crazy and to think out of the box!!

So get everything on the table and join our challenge

"Domestic Goddess" by Vicky

"Going crazy"

Hello everyone! "Going crazy" is our challenge this month and that's what I did! I usually create using a sketch but not this time...I took my mists, stencils and gloss medium and started playing around! I loved the outcome!!!! The "Domestic Goddess" collection by 7 dots urges you to create something extraordinary!!! Manor house flowers and ScrapFX chipboard were a great asset to the funky page and you can buy them at  Zeus & Zoe Etsy store!!!

"Domestic Goddess"

I have misted the flowers to match the colors of my layout!!!

I really loved this collection by 7 Dots as it has so many beautiful die cuts, vintage stickers and papers with bold colors!!!

To create that dripping effect with your mists, just spray many times in a certain spot, then hold your paper upright and while it is dripping blow some air on it (I hope I make sense...hahaha)
