Take a Note - Canvas by Virág Reti

Hi Crafty Friends,

The monthly mood board and its vintage feeling is so close to my my style. I decided to prepare a canvas in brown and that wonderful turquoise colour. I used so many techniques on the background. First of all I really like to upcycle the frames of the paper tags so I glued them to the canvas. After that I steciled some patters and coloured the background. Behind the photo there are may layers of papers. The rustic effects was made with mica flakes and other grainy embellisments. Fort he last step I stemped some non-figurative pattern to the canvas.

Capture Life in Yellow by Marie Johansson

Hi Sweet followers!

Today I´m sharing this mini canvas made with inspiration from the March Moodboard that Virag Reti put togheter for us.

I used a small canvas that I covered with Yellow & White Mini Dot Reverse paper from Canvas Corp . I stamped a delicate flower with a stamp from IndigoBlu and colored it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist "Marigold", "Sun Sisters",  "Golden Orange" & Tattered Angels Chalkboard Mist "Firefly".

I added a small sentiment sticker from 7 Dots Studio and two studs from 7gypsies.

I´m looking forward to your interpretation of our challenge !

Hello friends! 

My name is Olya Kravets and it's an honor for me to be a guest designer in your blog!

I live in Moscow now with my family. My daughter is 2 years and I every day with her. Сreativity is so important to me. I returned to scrapbooking 2 years ago and now have dedicated my life to creating and inspiring! I try every day to be better than yesterday, to always learn and develop. 

My favorite style of scrapbooking is mixed media. This is where you can reveal their feelings and emotions, to feel yourself an artist and  always do something new.

Moodboard this month is so beautiful and inspiring! My sweet canvas about me and my daughter, when she was 3 month. I was very inspired by tenderness, delicate flowers and the color.

Special Memories Canvas - Berry71Bleu February Mood Board Challenge

Hello Everyone

Welcome to a new month and a new Mood Board Challenge here at Berry71Bleu!

Here is the gorgeous and soft mood board.

I took inspiration from the beautiful and soft pinks and created this canvas.

This photo is of my husbands Grand Mother.  She was a beautiful lady! ;-)

I used chippies and lace and also made some of my own layered flowers.

Crackle paste, distress inks and spray inks were used for the background.

Welcome Winter Canvas - Denise van Deventer

Hello Everyone

It's Denise here today, to share my take on the mood board this month.

Here's a reminder of the board.

I loved the frosty and chilly feel of it, so that was my inspiration.

Here's the canvas I made.

I used the BoBunny Winter Wishes Collection.  It was perfect for this project.

I created the background with gel medium and added colour with some distress inks.

I then fussy cut a number of elements and created a whimsical type scene.

I added some Pentart 3D balls, some flower soft and some glitter and paints for the snowy effects.

There are literally 3 days left to play along with this challenge.

Hello, everyone! 

I am very happy to be a guest designer at Berry71Bleu!) My name is Maria Kozlova, I live in Kaluga, Russia. I am a mother of two lovely boys. I have been making scrapbook projects for five years already. I do it every day and can't help it. -))) I like working in different styles and techniques. I love mixed media and playing around with paint, water colour, sprays...and what not.  I have been on a number of design teams: Scrapman, Craft Premier, Fabrika 212 and I am still a member of these teams.

My fairy tail by Virág with video tutorial

Hi My Crafty Friends!

I have started a journey around my fantasy land. It wasn't easy to me to create something in this syle.

I decided that I use the chipboards as a fairy wings and than I tried to find a photo that fits for the conception. This is one of my weddig picture from the trash the dress photo shooting. 

The base ot this artwor was a backside of a canvas that I covered with old book pages. After I glued everithing I started to paint with metallic paints.
