"Going crazy"

Hello everyone! "Going crazy" is our challenge this month and that's what I did! I usually create using a sketch but not this time...I took my mists, stencils and gloss medium and started playing around! I loved the outcome!!!! The "Domestic Goddess" collection by 7 dots urges you to create something extraordinary!!! Manor house flowers and ScrapFX chipboard were a great asset to the funky page and you can buy them at  Zeus & Zoe Etsy store!!!

I have misted the flowers to match the colors of my layout!!!

I really loved this collection by 7 Dots as it has so many beautiful die cuts, vintage stickers and papers with bold colors!!!

To create that dripping effect with your mists, just spray many times in a certain spot, then hold your paper upright and while it is dripping blow some air on it (I hope I make sense...hahaha)

Going Crazy lo by Guest Designer

Hi Everyone! I must say, I am just bursting at the seams with excitement to be here and to have been given the wonderful opportunity to play with the gorgeous 7 dots Studio "Domestic Goddess" papers, alphas, and embellies. Wow! Talk about fun...I had such a great time with Bellaidea's challenge. For me, the minimalist, I must say I went crazy with this lo. I started with the amazing 7 dots Studio paper, added the wall mask, inked up some lettering and then added more 7 dots Studio "Hopefully" paper in the shape of circles. Then I added fun pom pom and doily trim along with the vintage button and sparkling bling spots from my Zeus and Zoe kit. To pull this all together, I added a 7dots "Domestic Goddess" tag, some advertisement info. and some unusual embellies.

Thank you B71B, my Sister blog, for having me and thank you 7 dots Studio for letting me play with a couple of your fabulous lines!

For everyone thinking about entering this challenge, I say "go for it", you'll have a blast and the wonderful chance at winning some 7 dots goodies.....is so worth it. Yeah!

Now here is my layout that I created using those amazing 7Dots Studio papers:

I used lots of distressed layers of the 7Dots Domestic Goddess Papers and tags, along with 7Dots Hopefully stickers and tags. I got a little crazy and did some paint splatters in unusual colors for me, black, gold and pink, and then used this crazy florist "ribbon" that I found that looked like chicken wire that was coated. I love the pattern, and the coating lends tons of texture.

Here you can see all the water distressing I did, and the rolling back of the paper to form a pocket that I layered with painted corrugated board and then filled with lots of flowers, and a metal charm that I popped one of the 7Dots Hopefully Stickers onto.

Here are all those messy paint splatters, and you can see that I used a 7Dots tag that I cut out in the shape of a banner and tucked behind the photo with some pleated Vintage lace. I did 3 different distressed peek a boos that I layered seed beads onto, and then tucked some of the 7Dots stickers behind with more pleated lace.

I layered my photo on top of one of the 7Dots journaling tags that I used to create my title "Destination", and then added on two of my Pink Lemonade Glitter Glass Butterflies from my Etsy Shop to add even more dimension.

I just love scrapping with no moderation and with a touch of wildness. It sets me free and allows me to create without boundaries. This challenge was soooo much fun-thank you Bellaidea!! And a huge thank you to 7Dots Studios!!! You make creating beautiful projects a snap! ~Renea

This month Its Bellaidea's turn to host the Berry71Bleu challenge.

and she chose something crazy and amazing!!

She decided to break some rules and have lots of fun!

For this challenge there is only one criteria -

Do something the way you have never done before.

Here is my layout and I definitely used bold colors!!

Although I used lots of mixed media techniques, I didn't go as crazy as Bellaidea!

I did though try a new fun technique I've never tried before.  I also did something different by accident lol! For the first time ever, I forgot to put a title on my layout!! I had this blog post all ready to go when I noticed,  so I guess that's what's meant to be!!

I used a beautiful flowery napkin and cut out the flower and the leaves. Once I separated the layers of the napkin I glued them on the page with Gel medium both under and over to seal it in like decoupage.

The amazing thing is that they are a bit translucent and add a beautiful layer on the page.

The beautiful flourish border is from Scrap FX and you can buy it and lots of other amazing Products from Scrap Fx and Manorhouse Creations at Zeus & Zoe Etsy store

The papers are from 7 Dots Studios Domestic Goddess collection which I love and they are the sponsors for this challenge.

Here we are in November already & it's time to announce the winners 

& features of last month's Mixed Media challenge.  Ladies you blew us

judging was incredibly difficult and close as a result.  I had a dozen entries chosen 

for features initially and had to spend a couple of hours deciding - really!!  So if
